Strawberry Bleu Cheese Salad

4 cups spring mix

1/2 cup bleu cheese crumbles

1/2 cup walnuts

1 tbsp. sugar

2 tsp. butter

1/4 cup diced red onion

3/4 cup sliced strawberries

Ken’s Steak House Sweet Vidalia Onion Dressing

Start by putting butter, sugar, and walnuts in a nonstick pan. Stir constantly on medium low heat for about five minutes. It will be done just before the sugar turns brown. To cool, place the nut mixture on a piece of parchment on top of a plate and place the nuts in the freezer while you make the rest of the salad. Slice the strawberries and red onion. In a large bowl add the spring mix. Add the strawberries, bleu cheese, onion, and cooled nuts. Toss and add the dressing. Serve up and enjoy!
