Copy Cat Jam Tart
5x 12 piece of puff pastry
1/4 cup of jam
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. powdered sugar
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place the pastry on a nonstick mat or parchment paper. On one half spread the jam leaving room on the sides to crimp it closed. Fold the pastry in half. Take a fork and crimp all of the sides. Take a paring knifes and cut 3 slits in the top of the pastry so it can vent. Brush with an egg wash. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes. Make the glaze by combining the milk and powdered sugar. If it is too runny add more sugar. If it is too stiff add more milk. Drizzle on your glaze. Take a bite and enjoy!
