Bacon Wrapped Tater Tots with Seasoned Sour Cream

Bacon Wrapped Tater Tots with Seasoned Sour Cream

28 oz. bag of tater tots, thawed

1 Lb. of bacon, cut into thirds

toothpicks

For Sour Cream:

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 tablespoon dried parsley

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 tsp. paprika

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire

1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

for garnish, 1 tbsp. fresh chives (optional)

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Wrap 1/3 of a slice of bacon around a tater tot and secure with a toothpick. Place on a baking tray with a wire rack so the fat from the bacon can drip off while cooking and keep everything crispy. Repeat wrapping the tater tots until you use all the bacon. Bake in the oven for 17 minutes or until the bacon is crispy. While the tater tots are cooking, mix together all the ingredients for the seasoned sour cream in a bowl. Allow the tater tots to cool for 5 minutes. Serve along side the sour cream for a great game day treat.

*I used Kite Hill Dairy Free Sour Cream.*
